We are Luca Colangiuli and Fedele Mantuano, two developers who share a curiosity about technology and a desire to build useful tools. We created Code Geeks AI to share what we learn as we develop projects, experiment and tackle real problems.

Today, we focus on using artificial intelligence thoughtfully: understanding its capabilities and limitations, learning to use it with sound judgement and making the most of it in software development and everyday tasks.

We design and build AI agents and assistants that help people navigate complex information and make it more accessible. One of our projects is Tabletop Assistant, born from our passion for board games and the idea of helping players find answers to rules questions during a game.

On this blog, we share experiences, guides and reflections drawn from our work: what we tried, the choices we made and what we learned. We believe in open source, sharing knowledge and putting ideas to the test in practice.

Luca Colangiuli

I am one of the two developers behind Code Geeks AI. Together with Fedele, I work on AI projects and experiments, with a particular focus on thoughtful use and practical applications.

Provisional profile, to be completed with Luca’s background, skills and interests.

Fedele Mantuano

I am a cybersecurity expert and AI Engineer, specialising in spam analysis and email-borne threats. I created SpamScope and mail-parser, a Python library for email analysis that is also used in digital forensics.

I develop intelligent agents, systems that connect AI to knowledge sources (RAG) and MCP servers that integrate tools and services. I work with Python, LangChain and LangGraph, alongside Elasticsearch, Ansible and AWS, to build analysis and automation systems.

Open source is an important part of my work. Through Code Geeks AI, I share this experience and explore with Luca how to use artificial intelligence effectively, thoughtfully and in ways we can verify.
